SUMMARY EXPLANATION AND BACKGROUND:
In November 2018, a referendum passed that approved the issuance of General Obligation Bonds to finance costs for various parks facilities in the City.  One segment of the use of the General Obligation Bond funds was for neighborhood parks projects.  The City had concept plans prepared for seven neighborhood parks for citizens to gain an understanding of how the neighborhood parks may be developed.  On June 17, 2019, City Council approved Resolution 135-19 which approved an agreement for professional design services for the neighborhood parks project.  The agreement provided that AECOM would revise the seven neighborhood parks concepts plans and present the revised concept plans and renderings for City Council approval.
