TITLE:
CRA Resolution 1-23 - Approve Tax Increment Rebate Agreement between the City of Cape Coral, Community Redevelopment Agency, Bimini Square, LLC, Scarlett Investments, LLC and Crown Development, Inc. regarding a mixed-use project known as Bimini Square.
SUMMARY:
This is a Tax Increment Rebate Agreement between the City of Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency, Crown Development, Inc., BIMINI SQUARE, LLC, Scarlet Investments, LLC, and the City of Cape Coral.
The Agreement calls for the CRA to transfer Increment Revenues into the Revenue Trust Fund as financial support to the proposed mixed-use project containing a waterfront restaurant, with approximately 48,000 square feet of retail and professional space, approximately 218 premium apartment homes, not less than a 25 slip transient boat dock (subject to the transfer by the City of Cape Coral of the right to construct) and related seawall improvements, including a pedestrian promenade to Cape Coral Parkway, with an approximately 500-space parking garage.
