At the Special Meeting of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) on February 21, 2023 the Board approved a Special Event Sponsorship application from PRIDE Cape Coral in the amount of $5,000. The application indicated that the funding would be utilized for ACME road closure and portable restrooms. 

PRIDE Cape Coral is requesting that the funds be utilized for police services rather than the costs related to road closures because the vendor required payment in full prior to the event.
