SUMMARY:
The Access Management and Landscape Beautification on Palm Tree Blvd was approved for the FY2024 Budget. The boundaries for this project are from the intersection of Palm Tree Blvd and Country Club Blvd to the intersection of Wildwood Pkwy and Country Club Blvd.
The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) requests approval of SCP#ST-02 with Stantec Consulting Service, Inc. for the design of median curbing, median landscaping and review of the corridor access management, address deficiencies as appropriate and construction assistance along Palm Tree Blvd, from the intersection of Palm Tree Blvd and Country Club Blvd to the intersection of Wildwood Pkwy and Country Club Blvd
On March 20, 2024, City Council adopted Resolution 71-24 which authorized the Professional Consultant Continuing Services (CCNA)- Master Agreement Library with 36 Professional Engineering Firms. The firms were pre-qualified for specific engineering categories based on their specific expertise to provide support for continuing services projects on an as needed basis.
A master agreement with Stantec Consulting Service, Contract # CON-RFQ2323KR-HH for professional services, was executed on March 21, 2024, to allow for future work assignments. The individual work assignment authorizes the firm to complete professional services using Staffing Cost Proposals (SCP). The SCP follows the terms and conditions of the Master Agreement and incorporates the detailed work assignment for a specific task that needs to be completed.
As the CRA can utilize the City contracts, based on the continuing Professional Consultant Services Contract #CON-RFQ2323KR-HH, Stantec Consulting Group, Inc., was chosen from the Professional Services Library to provide the professional services for this project. Stantec Consulting Group, Inc. has submitted a Staffing and Cost Proposal (SCP) ST-02 based on the required scope of work for the Not-to-Exceed amount of $281,473.
If approved, the Staffing Cost Proposal #ST-02 for the professional design services for the design of median curbing, median landscaping and review of the corridor access management, address deficiencies as appropriate and construction assistance for a not to exceed amount of $281,473 with a total project timeline of 239 days for design and 270 days for Construction Assistance for a total of 509 days.
